The emulator has been sped up significantly, thanks to some work by Gil Pedersen. Notable changes include: - Missing sound channels have been fixed. In sync with the latest code for Windows. Battery RAM and Quick Freezes are now saved in their own folders. Be aware that the BIOS image must now be named "gbasys.bin" instead of "bios.gba". The new code adds a number of compatibility improvements over the previous release. V0.2.3 - October 10th, 2001 - In sync with v0.23 for Windows. Using the Real BIOS Boycott Advance can use a real Gameboy Advance BIOS image, although it is not required. ![]() Boycott Advance is not designed to be a substitute for the real system - if you want to play GBA games, buy a GBA. You will not get consistent full frame rate on this emulator if you do not have a G4 running at at least 600MHz. Speed Boycott Advance is not a fast emulator. What is it?
